Start the Process

This is to help you as an athlete to start the process to become a student athlete at the next level after high school. The following links are first to the NCAA and NAIA so that you can register to be eligable. All schools use these clearance houses to follow your progress from SAT ACT amatuer status.

As you begin this process there are some key things to know. First and foremost the NCAA and NAIA have an anti drug policy. If you are offered a scholarship and you agree to accept the scholarship, you also agree to the mandatory drug testing that the NCAA and NAIA do. Many of the questionaires are linked to facebook now and when you fill in the answers and submit, your facebook page will be able to be viewed by the coaches. Second before you fill out any questionaire look at the school investigate first if they have what you want in an education. Then look at the class sizes and true costs to attend, not all scholarships cover the cost of housing and meals.

To make it easy before going to submit any information look over your social media pages, if you have something that you think "may" be judged as not appropriate, even if you think it is no big deal. REMOVE IT. Those that think smoking pot is not a big deal, the NCAA and NAIA do think it is a big deal and will not give you that desired scholarship.
